1" H/D Die Cast Bolt Snap - Nickel Plated Steel

We have sold over 10,000 of these bolt snaps and this is the first time we have heard of this problem with this snap hook or any of the snap hooks we sell. I took one from the bin to see if there is a manufacturing issue. The pin does have movement and can be offset from the hook by 1/8" which is the same tolerance as all the snap hooks we sell from different manufactures.

I also took my dog using this hook for a walk after work to see if I could emulate this issue. She was not impressed. We do our walks in the bush and always without a leash. Tried multiple different ways to disengage the leash but it did not? Answer provided by:  Andy Perth (2/17/2021)
