Q: I need to find a snap all pcs to attach a curtain to a boat. I beleive it is the 3/8 stud screw but am not certain which snap button pcs go with it?

Q: I have to remove the old fasteners by drilling out the rivets and was wondering what the diameter of the 3/8" stud screw would be? If the rivet hole is to big would non stud screws work? (just a regular stainless screw that I could buy anywhere)

A: Hi Garry

You would need a #10 screw to bite the hole if you are drilling out 1/8" pop rivets. The problem buying #10 screws for studs is that the head of the screw is too big and the snap will not fit properly. We do sell #10 stud screws if you can not find a screw to fit inside a stud.
