40oz Dockseal - Black 61" is our heaviest tarpaulin fabric at 40 ounces per square yard. There are two weft inserted fabrics each of 9x9 yarn count. One is 1000 denier yarns, the other is also 1000 denier except every 8th yarn is 4000 every 8th yarn is 4000 denier. This provides a "RIP STOP" type of fabric.
Backing Content: 100% polyester.
Cold Crack: equal to or greater than -40 degrees Celsius.
Construction: 1000 denier, with every 8th yarn is 4000 denier.
Content: 100% polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Mildew: Product is rot & mildew resistant.
Tear Strength: Passes ASTM D1117 Warp = 150lbs. anf Fill = 140lbs.
Tensile Strength: Passes ASTM D751 Warp = 461lbs. and Fill = 443lbs.
Weight: 40oz per square yard, 68oz per lineal yard.
Width: 61"
