7/16'' - #2 Professional Spur Sheet Grommet Die is CNC machined from drop forged high-grade tool steel by C.S. Osborne & Co. in the US is considered the finest industrial grommet setting die available. This high polished tool is intended for the professional or tradesmen, used properly will last a lifetime. Using a rawhide or hickory mallet as opposed to a steel hammer to set the grommets prevents the die from deforming and keeps the 2-piece die aligned.

Professional Plain Sheet (also known as toothed) Grommet Dies from #00 thru #5 are CNC machined from drop forged high-grade tool steel, while sizes #6 & up are properly machine hardened malleable iron cast.

Please Note: Choose the same size Plain Midget Grommet Die for setting the Grommet - example: 9/32'' - #0 Spur Grommet Dies will set 9/32" - #00 Spur Grommets. Spur grommet dies will not work with plain grommets. the spur grommet die leaves a slight gap between the 2-piece die set so the teeth on the spur grommet do not get crushed when being set. Size indicates the inside diameter of the center hole of the grommet, not the outside perimeter of the grommet.
