Magnetic Snap - Nickel Plated Steel are a handy fastener solution for a variety of accessories and apparel. The process of attaching them is pretty easy. You basically mark the position, cut the slits for the prongs, mount the pieces and then fold the prongs down onto the back plate and you’re done!

Diameter: 19 mm.

Sold as a set including male, female and 2 back plates.

Thanks for the complement. The snap is 19 mm in diameter and 4 mm thick.

When the female is attached to the male, the thickness is 4 mm.

Q: Are the magnetic snaps suitable for window covers on a boat dodger? Our concern would be strong winds blowing the covers off when we are not at the boat. Is this a suitable product for this application? Thank you in advance for your help.

A: Hi Corinne.
These Magnetic Snaps wouldn't be the right choice for dodger window covers. Part number FAS-1001 - Nickle Plated Snap would be the correct one. Once you are on that page scroll down the "Related Items" to find the corresponding Studs that are sold separately.
