Placing an Order
Find products by typing in key words or part numbers in the search box (top right, underneath our phone #) , selecting a category from the navigation bar on the far left (categories are in alphabetical order) and then refine your search by selecting a subcategory from the drop down menu. Click on any item to see its complete description and pricing. Click the "Add To Cart" to add the item to your shopping cart. You can easily navigate to see what is in your cart from any page on our site by simply clicking the grocery cart symbol located at the top right corner of every page.

Once you have placed the product in to your cart, you can update the quantity (our store defaults all picked items to 1) you wish to purchase by typing in the number of units you require and then selecting "Update Cart". To add more items, select "Continue Shopping" and repeat the process till you have all your items,
Throughout the process you can check to see what the shipping costs will be for your items at any time. When in your cart, choose your Province and then enter your Postal Code and select "Calculate". A window at the bottom of your page will list all the shipping methods and costs. All shipping costs are taxes extra.
You do not need to register with us to calculate the cost of your items and shipping. This can be done with new and existing customers alike.
When and if you wish to proceed with your purchase, in your shopping cart select "Proceed To Checkout". This will take you to a new window, where new customers need to register with us and present customers can choose their payment options. When on this page note the green address bar and the padlock closed symbol denoting our site to have a SSL Secure Connection. 

Tracking an Order
When you place an order with us, you will immediately receive a confirmation from us confirming that we received it. Once your items are picked, processed, and shipped, we will e-mail you a tracking number and the website address of the courier you choose so you can track your package through the system.

Payment Methods
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery) and PayPal. Credit Card purchases that are not transacted in Canadian funds may be subject to a fee by their Credit Card company to convert the funds to Canadian.

Credit Card Authorization & Verification 
All online orders are subject to credit card authorization and verification. To avoid any delays with your order please make sure all billing information you provide us matches exactly to your credit card issuing bank records. Your credit card will be processed upon submission of your order.  In instances after you place your order online you wish to add, decrease or modify your order we will contact you by phone to either refund or charge you for any modifications to your order to collect credit card information. We do not have access to your credit card information submitted online.

Sales Tax
JT'S Outdoor Fabrics Inc. is required by law to collect and remit sales tax as follows:
Ontario 13% HST
Nova Scotia 15% HST
Prince Edward Island 15% HST
New Brunswick 15% HST
Newfoundland and Labrador 15% HST
Rest of Canada 5% GST


When your order is picked, processed and shipped, we will e-mail you a tracking number and the website of the shipper you have chosen so you can track the package through their system. The tracking number we send will not be valid until 4:00 pm EST, once the shipper picks up and scans the packages.

 Be very careful when entering shipping addresses! Small mistakes will usually not cause any delivery delays, however a bad or wrong address may cause long delays. If the package gets returned to us, we can resend the package to a new address but you will be responsible for the original and additional shipping charges. 
We use Canpar & Canada Post as our chosen couriers.

We only ship to Canadian addresses.

Back Order Policy
If a back order is less than 5 days we will hold the entire order to ship complete. If the back order is expected to take longer we will inform you via e-mail and ask if you would like to wait till the item comes in so it can be shipped all together, cancel the order and refund or send the items in stock and ship the back order when it is available? The latter would incur you a second shipping charge.

No Hassle Guarantee
We do our best to satisfy every order and request accurately and completely. We carry only the best products by well known and respected manufactures. We do have a few products that are of low standard to save you a few dollars but these items are clearly marked on our website. If you are not completely satisfied with each and every product you have purchased, please give us a call so we can make it right!

Using a Promotion Code or Gift Certificate
Any promotion code or gift certificate number should be entered at the payment screen during checkout. Any discounts will be applied to the total of your order and will be available for review before the order is submitted.

Please note that you will be able to review your order after payment information has been entered. An order is not placed until you review and submit.

 Lost, Missing or Damaged Items
If you think your package is lost, first check around the house or business and with neighbors to make sure they didn't sign in your absence. If the package is indeed lost most carriers wait 21 days before issuing a credit for the lost package. Because we care and as a customer service, we will reship your items after 5 days and wait for the carrier to either reimburse us, or find the package.
If damage in shipping has occurred or if items are missing, contact us within 7 days, SAVE ALL PACKAGING, without it a claim cannot be made. Inspect the shipping carton for holes or crushed corners. Be prepared to describe the damage in detail. We may request digital photos of the box and its contents to help expedite a claim. Making a claim is a slow process. Again because we care, we will reship the missing or damaged items to you ASAP and we will wait to be reimbursed by the carrier. 

Estimated Shipping Date
Shipping from our warehouse is often the next day. It could take up to three days for us to prepare an order for shipping. Factored into this is the time it can take for an item or fabric to arrive from our supplier.

We do our best to process orders as quickly as possible.
Canada Post can be any where from 1 to 10 days depending where you are in the country. If your postal code ends with a zero it will be at least 10 days.
Canpar Courier can be the next day or 5 depending which part of Canada you reside in. Keep in mind days exclude weekends and Canadian Holidays.
