Q: Further to my recent request.. I'm wondering what the stud size is for snap fasteners. I'm looking for 3/8 in. Part Number:FAS-2005?

A: Hi Scott

All our snaps are line 24. This stud will work with all our snaps except where it indicates that they are baby snaps. Baby snaps are much smaller and are found in their own category.

Q: I looking for a recommendation for heavy duty snaps to use on 1.75 mm webbing. They will be subject to outdoor elements. Will this snap be suitable or is there another snap that closes tighter?

Q: Can these snaps be pop rivetted with the post through fiberglass?

A: Hi Alan

I suppose you can using but the fiberglass cannot be any thicker than 1/8".

If the fiberglass is thicker than an 1/8" you can get just the stud itself and use a 1/8" pop rivet to fasten it.
