SunStop® Thread Captain Navy is a high performance twisted multifilament polyester sewing thread with advanced UV protection and non-wicking finish specially designed for outdoor applications where seam strength retention and fade prevention during UV exposure are required. The advanced UV protection reduces strength degradation over traditional filament polyesters while reducing colour loss or fading. The non-wicking finish helps reduce moisture migration through the seams.

Applications: Outdoor Furniture, Patio Furniture, Gazebos, Marine, Outdoor Products.

Thread Size: V-92 (Tex 90)

Spool Size: 8oz - 2100 yards.

Recommended Needle Size: #18 to #20

Resistance To Heat: 145 deg C (Highest continuous temperature before breakdown)

Melting Point: 265 deg C
